Upgrades Riders can upgrade his CX category independently by earning upgrade
points :
4 > 3: Need 7 points in 12 months OR experience in 5 races;
20 points is an automatic upgrade
3 > 2: Need 10 points in any 12 month period; 25
points is an automatic upgrade - or - 2 wins
2 > 1: Need 20 points in any 12 month period; 30
points is an automatic upgrade - or - 2 wins
